An automatic log of every flight you take
SkyDot saves every qualifying flight without you tapping anything. Each entry records distance, duration, top speed, maximum altitude and the countries crossed. A world map fills in country by country as you fly them, 195 in all.
It records while you are not looking
Tracking runs for the whole flight, so the log is written from the same GPS trace that draws your position. Close the app and reopen it later and the flight is still being recorded.
What each flight keeps
Route and date, distance flown, duration, top ground speed, maximum altitude, and every country the track crossed. Enough to answer "how far have I actually flown" without you having kept a spreadsheet.

Questions
Do I need an account to keep a travel log?
No. The log is stored on your device and works with no account. Signing in with Google or Apple is optional and only carries your history between devices.
Is there a limit on saved flights?
The free tier has a small daily save quota. Premium removes the limit and unlocks the full travel log and world map.
What counts as a qualifying flight?
A tracked flight with enough of a GPS trace to produce a real route and statistics, rather than a short session on the ground.
